9403USA Today/NatGeo: 90's The Last Great Decade? It'll be nice to remember alot of the stuff that happened and also learn the stuff I missed when I was too little to know anything.
ThatDudeintheHoodieJul 01, 2014View
9402Independence Day (NOT The Movie)@vkimo: Our county fair isn't until the second week in August. It always heralded the return of school days a week later. I LOVE fair week. It's the most nostalgic time of year for me (even surpassing Christmas), but that's a discussion of another kind.

Here though, we'll be experiencing one of two days/nights when the streets fill up with parked cars (the other being Trick or Treat night). An Ox Roast in the Fireman's Park with food, music, wrestling, games, inflatables, and the like. A parade in the morning, and fireworks in the evening. It's good small town fun.
Vaporman87Jul 01, 2014View

9400USA Today/NatGeo: 90's The Last Great Decade?I loved the 80s documentary. The CNN one is ok, but I've only watched the first episode. I'm excited for this though. I agree with Vapor, growing up in the 50s would be my 2nd choice after the 80s. Most ideally though I'd like to experience either decade from around 5-15 to make it count.

I'm not old enough to make a call on what decades stood out. The 00s just seem to be a lot of pop music and terrorism.
vkimoJul 01, 2014View
