I feel like the director gave Aaron Taylor Johnson a pineapple, told him to keister it and that was his character motivation. The movie had a lot of build up which would support the sequel franchise. <br><br>All in all it makes me appreciate the awesomeness that Pacific Rim is. PR doesn't take it self too seriously and thus delivers.
