11118Halloween Article Contest 2014@Ben: If nothing else, scour some of my favorite blog sites that delight in Halloween for some inspiration on a subject. I recommend DinoDrac, I-Mockery, or VeggieMacabre.
Vaporman87Sep 08, 2014View
11117Halloween Article Contest 2014@vkimo: i'll see what my creative juices can think up.

since my memory was a bit hazy with my halloween outings in my past article, i haven't put much preparation into a second one. but i'll possibly use gilda for my illustrations again if i make another title card or just any other drawings for the article in general. the only three ideas that i have so far are an october-themed 'obscure gaming legacy' article, an article that focuses on in-school halloween activities, and one where i showcase a handful of spooky tunes that could be recommended to have playing at your house during halloween night as the kiddies come to your door for candy.

while going a tad off-topic, i was thinking about doing a commentary/walkthrough of monster party on youtube just for halloween, but the microphone driver on my laptop inconveniently stopped working. i can get video, but no audio. and yes i have a capture card, so no messy quality camcorder/webcam recording. just be prepared to hear my nasally sounding record voice
BenjanimeSep 08, 2014View

11115McDonald'sYeah. Last year's incorporation of toy lines was crappy. Just put a pamphlet or coloring book or something in there with the toy property on it, and leave the actual pail alone.
Vaporman87Sep 08, 2014View

11113Halloween Article Contest 2014Lesley is another one of those people who was just awesome to have involved here. So gracious of her to offer her time reading our work and being a judge, for absolutely no compensation aside from the entertainment value of the articles.

This has been an amazing Fall already as far as the generosity of people we admire and respect, agreeing to involve themselves with little old us. I'm so thankful for that.
Vaporman87Sep 08, 2014View

11111Illustrations used for articles@TDitH... there is a good image editing/paint program out there that I use for everything under the sun, Paint.net. It's free and awesome. I think it's much easier to use than Gimp, though you can do more with Gimp.
Vaporman87Sep 08, 2014View
