Everyone was filled with excitement about going to the Moon and things we would see in the 21st century. </p> <p>The Carters could easily have been the parents of some of my classmates. On our trip, we visited Jimmy Carter's childhood home and we went to a restaurant and he just happened to be there. He had a couple of guys with him. Secret Service guys, I'm sure.
