12101What franchise do you want to see come back to your town?Oh forgot Hammond Toys also. <br><br>@Vapor lol road trippin' for the 'Zilla, nice. My mom waited in predawn lines at multiple Kaybee's and Toys'r'us stores for Return of the Jedi toys for Christmas for two little boys. I remember when Kaybee's went out of business and had clearance sales.<br><br>@Crow Chuck E. Cheese is still around but it is a shadow of its former glory. I was in a Chuck E. Cheese for my birthday party deep in the swiss cheese maze when the building caught fire. Frantic parents were on hands and knees dragging kids out of the maze with smoke waist high and above. I remember watching the roof collapse as the building burned from across the street and crying because I still had a pocket full of tokens.<br><br>Little Caesar's is also still around and I occasionally pick up a hot'n'ready but I remember the days of Pizza Pizza when you got two pizzas in one long box or a Bigfoot pizza that was huge. At one time they had salads, subs, pasta, etc.<br><br>There were Dee's sit down restaurants and Dee's Drive-Ins burger joints. I don't know the whole history but it seems there was a messy divorce and the wife took over the franchises but there is still one Dee's sit down restaurant in&nbsp; the town I grew up in (similar to a Village Inn or Ihop). The Drive-Ins disappeared bought out and transformed into Hardee's fast food burger joints then they disappeared bought out by Carls Jr. and dismantled. Years later they came back to my area Carl's Jr.s but they are not the same. I remember playgrounds and Halloween kids meals, Super Heroes kid meals, etc. Back in the day there were milkshakes, and chargrilled hamburgers. Then they changed to charbroiled in the Hardee's days but even they went away for frozen patties. <br><br><br><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2117/1575974932_356fdd9619.jpg"><br><a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/create/extension/" style="height: 20px; width: 40px; position: absolute; opacity: 0.85; z-index: 8675309; display: none; cursor: pointer; border: medium none; background-image: url(&quot;data:image/png;base64,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&quot;);"></a><a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/create/extension/" style="height: 20px; width: 40px; position: absolute; opacity: 0.85; z-index: 8675309; display: none; cursor: pointer; border: medium none; background-image: url(&quot;data:image/png;base64,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&quot;); top: 422px; left: 14px;"></a>NLoganOct 07, 2014View
12100What franchise do you want to see come back to your town?@NLogan:<br><br>Some of those businesses you mentioned still exist in my town. Like Chuck E. Cheese's, Little Caesar's, Waldenbooks, and Hardee's. (A new one is supposed to be built here.)<br>Mr MagicOct 07, 2014View
12099What franchise do you want to see come back to your town?<blockquote rel="NLogan"><b>NLogan wrote :</b><i><br><br>B. Dalton books, Borders, Waldenbooks, Media Play<br><br>KB Toys and Lionel Playworld<br></i><b>-end quote</b></blockquote>Ooooh... Media Play and KayBee (KB) Toys! I'd love to see those back again, even if they weren't necessarily in "my town".<br><br>A little story regarding KayBee Toys...<br><br>In the mid-90's ('94-'96), Trendmasters Toys produced what was then the only American made Godzilla figures (ones that WEREN'T simply imports from Japan or elsewhere).<br><br>When Trendmasters went belly up, the value of the figures started to rise. Not long after that, I joined Ebay and began to see that, indeed, the value of Trendmasters Godzilla figures was quite high. I had a nice stash of my own, but I wanted to find some to sell. There was a great deal of hype building for the Godzilla film being made by Devlin and Emmerich, and that was fueling some of the prices too.<br><br>I was a bachelor, with not much to do. So, I took it upon myself to begin using my weekends to travel to malls across Ohio and West Virginia. I printed out directions, then planned my trips. I wasn't always sure that a particular mall had a KayBee Toys, so sometimes it was hit and miss. But I did find a few of the Trendmasters figures still around in some of the stores. Nothing to write home about though. <br><br>It's weird to think that, at one time, I had so much free time that I used weekends to do that sort of thing. It also seems a bit pathetic now too.<br>Vaporman87Oct 07, 2014View

12097Mortal Kombat X trailerThe trailer has been up for a while... most notably, during E3. Looks like this game is really more gore focused. Though, this whole trailer seems to be more of a CGI trailer than actually showing off the gameplay. Nevertheless, we'll have to see what more this game has to offer.<br>blueluigiOct 07, 2014View
12096What franchise do you want to see come back to your town?I know everyone complains about them being everywhere, but I would dance in the streets if our town happened to get a Starbucks. The closest one to me is about an hour. Hell, I'd be content with any sort of coffee shop at all, but a Starbucks would be nice.<br>DerkOct 07, 2014View

It's about as legit as dragons and unicorns.<br><br>As far as the movie goes, if done correctly, Ouija would make a really cool horror film. Judging by what I've seen, what they made isn't remotely going to be close to that.DerkOct 07, 2014View
12094Twin Peaks Returns I love the original show and I'm a big David Lynch fan, so I'm pretty excited about it. I'm just said I have to wait until 2016 to see it.DerkOct 07, 2014View
12093Mortal Kombat X trailerI thought the movie was one of the best, if not the best video game to film adaptation. The theme song is like pouring a can of Redbull into your ear canal!<br>vkimoOct 06, 2014View
