13276 | Guess The TV Character |

shakin steak wrote :
Ah yes. I used itself as the object of the verb refers because oddly enough no one ever asked the gender. Himself or herself would be the most correct grammatically; to avoid them I probably should have used themself, but it is not always recognized as a word (their self is better as in all by their self) and themselves was plural. Either way now that we know the character is not human itself applies better anyways. Nice catch.
As to gender, in stating it was a villain and not a villainess I may have indicated it already. The character has appeared as both male and female, but is predominantly male and the literary source has both sexes as well.

| NLogan | Oct 30, 2014 | ![]() |

13272 | Guess The TV Character | Clues so far:

The character has more than one name and a title. The first name first initial can be
either a P, R, or B.
The show aired in the 1990s
Not a super hero
The different names are not alter egos or split personalities (to be fair the character does use disguises, or changes appearance, sort of)
It not from a cartoon
From a literary character. The alternate names are never used in the show except for the credits and the literary source.
The character's title and one name are used in the show.
The letter used in the show for the first name is "P"
The show is set in two different time periods
Some aspects would be considered sci-fi but that is definitely not the main genre
The character is a villain and the person playing the character has been a villain in several cool films from the 70s, 80s, and 90s in different roles
The character is certainly very active while on screen and even violent but not necessarily animated in nature at least not in a good way, and has been known to crack jokes
The character's title is not Prince
The character refers to itself by name, other characters refer to the character by the title they have bestowed upon the character

Bonus Clue:
The show originally aired on ABC and has since been rebroadcast on a cable network

| NLogan | Oct 30, 2014 | ![]() |
