There's the original SNES version, and an enhanced version. The enhanced version has much better graphics that helps give the game an arcade vibe when playing it. There's more of a space theme added into it, and for that, it makes the game feel a lot different. If you ever pick up Pac-Man World 2, I would recommend looking into unlocking Pac-Attack in that game. Or even if you pick up a Japanese copy of Namco Anthology 2, and you're able to play it on either your Import Playstation, or a modded North American Playstation system.

But the biggest reason why I think the Namco Anthology 2 version of Pac-Attack is the best version... the music composed by Takaki Horigome. That, to me, really adds to the experience. Just give the music a listen, and you'll see what I mean.

| blueluigi | Jun 05, 2015 | |

It was one of the games I used to own for the 3DO. One of the better ones.
| Vaporman87 | Jun 05, 2015 | |

Yet, Caps is nearly 1/3 of the way there, in under 3 years... with NO articles. ;) It'll be the Holy Grail of the Points Store.
| Vaporman87 | Jun 05, 2015 | |

I didn't though, as I had read that the offline multiplayer was 1 vs.1 and that's it. Instead I picked up Nintendoland. Much better choice for a family of 5 (+1 not yet able to "game") to play together.

Benjanime wrote :
i'm slowly still working on my art retrospective article, and i'll hopefully HOPEFULLY have it up before august. i say august because i really want to put more length into it than any previous articles i've ever written, here and on RJ. i'd go for a two or three parter, but i think i just want to put a draft to good use for one big feature. stay tuned, guys.
-end quote
Looking forward to that Ben!
| Vaporman87 | Jun 05, 2015 | |
21150 | Has anyone ever seen any of the Degrassi series? | I never watched the Degrassi series, but this news does have me wondering what Teennick is going to do next. Degrassi is really one of the few originally programming Teennick has on their network. Everything else seems to be mostly reruns of sitcoms from Nickelodeon as well as other networks... and of course, they also have their late night 90s Nick block which feels dead to me, IMO.
| blueluigi | Jun 05, 2015 | |
21149 | Virtual Console Thursdays | Week of 6/4/2015:

Wii U Virtual Console:

Pac-Attack (SNES)
$7.99

Well, with Mega May over, it is back to another slow week. Pac-Attack is a pretty useless release since the game is already included as part Pac-Man Collection... a GBA Pac-Man compilation title that's also available on the Wii U Virtual Console. It has four Pac-Man games and you can get it for $6.99... a dollar cheaper than what you would be paying for just that one SNES game. Both the SNES and GBA versions of Pac-Attack are virtually the same... the biggest difference really is that the GBA version doesn't save your high scores, which is something that can be alleviated with the Wii U Restore Points.

But me personally, I would rather play the Namco Anthology 2 version of Pac-Attack than either the SNES and GBA versions. 21148 | Warhammer 40K | I was in SF and saw a store selling the miniatures. WHOLE armies of the little dudes, it was pretty amazing. Each guy cost good money too. My dad actually unknowingly picked up a bag of figurines. That's about all my experience haha
| vkimo | Jun 05, 2015 | |
