22026CEO of Nintendo Satoru Iwata passes away at 55nintendo land was alright, but it's another one of those games where it's better with friends, as you suggested with mario kart and smash.<br><br>as for hyrule warriors it's actually a bit on the short side, but hopefully the dlc will give it more replayability, i only say that because i don't own the game, i've just been told by a friend that it could've been longer.<br><br>mario maker, i'm still disappointed with its price tag, $30 at least should be appropriate for a simple level editor, not the usual $59.99.<br><br>seeing as how i own splatoon though, i can understand that more depth could've been in the game with features. nintendo has slowly been adding downloadable updates with new battle stages, and two new modes recently got put in the game, but hopefully before the end of the year there'll be much more than what the game had to offer when it released. and no, i won't be getting an amiibo just to add additional single player campaign levels.<br>BenjanimeJul 14, 2015View

I was so excited when I saw the first trailer for it on the Nintendo Channel. Just an incredible missed opportunity there. Even Mrs steak was excited and she generally does not like playing console games. They displayed so many cool ways to use it, and I have really only heard about a few of them actually showing up in finished games. I think the Wii-mote didn't have its potential fulfilled either. <br><br>I'm glad I didn't buy this console. The lineup is really disappointing. There are a few good games, of course, but not nearly enough to make it worthwhile. I need at least five great games to invest. Here is my list of games that I'm interested in for Wii U:<br><br><style type="text/css"><!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--></style><table dir="ltr" style="table-layout:fixed;font-size:13px;font-family:arial,sans,sans-serif;border-collapse:collapse;border:1px solid #ccc" border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><colgroup><col width="120"></colgroup><tbody><tr style="height:20px;"><td style="padding:0px 3px 0px 3px;vertical-align:bottom;" data-sheets-value="[null,2,&quot;Bayonetta&quot;]">Bayonetta</td></tr><tr style="height:20px;"><td style="padding:0px 3px 0px 3px;vertical-align:bottom;" data-sheets-value="[null,2,&quot;Hyrule Warriors&quot;]">Hyrule Warriors</td></tr><tr style="height:20px;"><td style="padding:0px 3px 0px 3px;vertical-align:bottom;" data-sheets-value="[null,2,&quot;Mario Maker&quot;]">Mario Maker</td></tr><tr style="height:20px;"><td style="padding:0px 3px 0px 3px;vertical-align:bottom;" data-sheets-value="[null,2,&quot;NES Remix&quot;]">NES Remix</td></tr><tr style="height:20px;"><td style="padding:0px 3px 0px 3px;vertical-align:bottom;" data-sheets-value="[null,2,&quot;NES Remix 2&quot;]">NES Remix 2</td></tr><tr style="height:20px;"><td style="padding:0px 3px 0px 3px;vertical-align:bottom;" data-sheets-value="[null,2,&quot;Nintendo Land&quot;]">Nintendo Land</td></tr></tbody></table><br>TWO of those are games I actually want. The rest are good filler that I would be willing to spend some money on, but filler nevertheless. They don't get to be reasons for me to buy the system in the first place.<br><br>I'm not interested in Splatoon because I thought it was a cool concept in De Blob and that game was not fun. I don't like Smash or Kart because I have no one to play them with regularly and I'm just not into those genres enough to play those games by myself. <br><br>I feel similarly about all the consoles this generation. There are only one or two physical releases I want.&nbsp; I am interested in a slightly higher number of download games, but what if I don't like something? There are no returns or reselling.<br><br>I have my fingers crossed for NX. I don't know, though. I doubt it will be backwards compatible because of the tablet, so that's a handicap to library size right out of the gate. Which means to win me over, a great launch lineup and strong appeal to 3rd parties will both be mandatory.<br><br><br>shakin steakJul 14, 2015View

They seem to always shoot for something different... to be something different. And in that regard, I think they have been very successful.
