| 28593 | Robocop (1987) | I'm still amazed at the level of violence in the original Robocop, but it's violence that fits with the plot so my reaction is "keep watching to see what happens next". <div><br></div><div>There's a lot of Gotham City in this movie and many people see Batman in Robocop. In a way Robocop may have caused a spillover effect that sparked Batman's revival as that awesome animated series. If any of this is true it's a connection that takes time to search out.</div><div><br></div><div>All I know is that Robocop follows the rule: an over-the-top hero needs over-the-top villains.
