29331What song are you listening to?I have gotten in so many arguments over the years with people who get in my face, telling me that 70's music is all about Elton John, the Bee Gees and Disco. 29330Underrated cartoon charactersSeen a lot of cartoons over my lifetime but nothing surprised me as much as the "Jackie Chan Adventures". Nothing else on Saturday mornings came closer to being an animated soap opera.

With all due respect to Jackie Chan, the series would have fallen on its face without "Uncle".

Just like Master Splinter, Uncle is the glue that holds the series together, and as such I feel he was underrated by many fans of the show. Maybe Uncle was considered "comedy relief" for his one-liners. But I'm certain that the humor was a cover for a character that kept Jackie one step ahead of the bad guys.

When Tohru joined the J-Team, he and Uncle made quite the pair. Tohru's funny side emerged and Uncle had an ally to shoulder more of the series humor.

eddstarrFeb 28, 2016View

For example, the "related videos" and "related articles" links for movies and TV shows aren't showing up, nor are the comments for movies and TV shows. You also need to refresh the page when adding a movie or TV show so it shows up. There are still some kinks to work out, I see, so I'll be PM'ing Vertex about them later today.
-end quote
My account is still active at RJ. I plan to go there again but for now I like being at R-D. You know it's really bad when you're on RJ just talking to yourself.eddstarrFeb 28, 2016View

29323How was your day?
Vaporman87 wrote :
Last night was the viewing for my sister. Today is her funeral. It's been a tough weekend, and I'll be glad when it's over. My aunt did find my sister's grey stuffed cat. We both had one as children, and we would lay in bed some nights playing with them and other stuffed animals performing the "Meowwy Wowwy Show". Meowwy was my cat of course. Her's was named Smarts. Now that the Meowwy Wowwy Show is such a big part of my play with my own children, it means so much to have Smarts join them, and remind me of the good times with my sister. -end quote
I'm really glad you were able to bring Smarts into your family. That was very touching.massrealityFeb 28, 2016View
