30881Star Wars: Rogue OneI wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I loved the trailer. Definitely had the Star Wars feel whilst simultaneously staying true to itself. I'm excited to see where this goes.kidcoffeeApr 08, 2016View
30880Virtual Console ThursdaysLast week didn't have any Virtual Console releases, most likely because of Mario Super Sluggers being released on the Wii U eShop. But we do have something good for the week of April 7, 2016.

Wii U Virtual Console:

Game and Watch Gallery 4 (GBA)

$6.99

This, I believe, is one of the last games to be released that is part of the 3DS Ambassador's Program. Personally, I feel this is the best game in the Game and Watch Gallery series as it offers a range of games both new to the franchise, and some that was used in the previous games, with enhanced graphics for the GBA. Also, the Japanese Virtual Console release of the game was the first time the game actually received a Japanese release. Yeah, why they didn't release it in Japan before is beyond me. Plus, the multiplayer is disabled in the Virtual Console release as games like Boxing and Donkey Kong 3 uses the GBA link cable.

After Game and Watch Gallery 4 was released... Nintendo announced that the were going to release Game and Watch e-Reader cards, which would include Classic and Modern modes of some of these games. Unfortunately, Game and Watch-e ended up being cancelled. The only thing Game and Watch game released on an e-Reader card is Manhole, which was one of the cards that came bundled with the e-Reader.

On a sidenote... Mega Man Legends 2 has finally been released for Playstation Network. Yes, now you can play the entire Mega Man Legends series on the Playstation 3. Yes, unfortunately, it ended up being the only Mega Man Legends sequel, which made the 2011 cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3 that much harsher.

blueluigiApr 08, 2016View
