31418Forgotten CartoonsWow, David and the Magic Pearl is new to me, never seen it before. That's what I like about coming here, seeing new stuff. I have a tough time searching for cartoons I remember with no references anywhere on the web. But I always find something interesting during my search.<div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">Here's a cartoon series I used to watch later on Saturday mornings when the network shows were wrapping things up for the weekend. It another one of my accidental discoveries while I was looking around the TV instead of watching commercials.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div>It's called <span style="font-weight: bold;">K-10-C</span> and is the work of former Disney creators on a project that began as a movie idea that morphed into a television series. This was 2003 and I found this show fascinating. Plus I like the voice actors, guys like Peter Strauss and Paul Winfield.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">This episode has a pretty good song sequence!</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/kKjcyKdC25c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>eddstarrApr 28, 2016View
31417Last Movie You Watched<blockquote rel="vkimo"><b>vkimo wrote :</b><br><i> A Goofy Movie (1995)<div><br></div><div>I love this movie. Enjoyed it way back in the 90s for its catchy soundtrack and mild crush on Roxanne. Fast forward more than 20 years and I like it for its message of a father trying to keep up with his son reaching maturity. The scene where Goofy and Max are floating on the car and Max says he's not Goofy's baby any more and he has his own life just kills me. As a father now, my daughter is just a baby and goes where I go, and loves every bit of it, but I know the day will come where she has her own life and I'll take backseat to that. Awesome movie and poignant as it is entertaining, severely underrated in the Disney Library.</div><div><br></div><div>4/5</div> </i><b>-end quote</b></blockquote>It's crazy how these old movies we loved as kids, teens, and young adults can take on all knew meaning for us as parents. It makes them new again, or at least a new kind of experience. Good example: Parenthood.&nbsp;Vaporman87Apr 28, 2016View

My taste buds just weren't made for the stuff. Even so, it's a fun idea. Still hard to top the Halloween burger though.&nbsp;Vaporman87Apr 28, 2016View

It was called schnozollas(i probably spelled it wrong) and it took place in a pet store and all of the animals had big noses. It was from the 90's. I had it on vhs. I know it was real and existed because people that i know remember it. It's just so crazy that i can never find anything about. I remember asking about it years ago on retrojunk but even there know one knew about it. Anytime i look it up, all that comes up is Jimmy Durante. </i><b>-end quote</b></blockquote>Isn't it amazing how we are so used to finding info on anything we desire now, that when we can't find something it is beyond frustrating?&nbsp;<img src="http://retro-daze.org/images/smilies/MavLaughOutLoud.gif">Vaporman87Apr 28, 2016View

31412Tinker Bell Movie Starring Reese Witherspoon AnnouncedI haven't watched Reese Witherspoon in a film since Election. I know my daughter would love any film with Tinkerbell in it, so it's likely I'll end up seeing this when it comes out.&nbsp;Vaporman87Apr 28, 2016View

31410Game of ThronesI always like to ponder on how different things would have been had Ned Stark lived.
