| 33311 | How was your day? | I too worked in a restaurant. On paper, I was a line cook, but in practice, I ended up doing a little bit of everything, including washing dishes. The whole kitchen staff would have to stay after closing to clean up. I usually was the one to empty the deep fryer. I don't know if you've ever tried to carry a huge, heavy pot full of still hot oil while trying not to splash any on yourself, but believe me, it ain't fun.<div>The only good thing was that everybody I was working with was super chill and forgiving. I can't count how many times I screwed up only to have my supervisor wave it off.</div><div><br></div><div>Have you tried applying for something less stressful?
