35964 | The Good Son |
I always liked this movie. I dunno... as a kid, seeing something of a horror/thriller with kids. Also, Culkin dropping the eff bomb. I'll bet he was giddy, getting the go ahead from his mom to cuss on tape.
| fuschnikt | Jun 03, 2017 | |

35961 | Last TV show you watched | Danny Phantom. I was never a diehard fan of this series when it was first airing, but I actually do think now and days it's the best show Butch Hartman has ever produced, even if Fairly Oddparents has been more popular and still airing. | Rick Ace Rhodes | Jun 03, 2017
35960 | The Good Son | I just saw this on Netflix over Easter weekend. My father really enjoys this movie, but I don't see what he sees. I think the plot of the film is okay, but trying to imagine Macaulay Culkin as this murderous psychopath is just too laughable in my opinion.

And let's not forget his acting is pretty horrible. The final scene where he and Elijah Wood were dangling from the cliff and his begging his mom to let go of Elijah had to be some of the worst line readings I have ever encountered.
| Rick Ace Rhodes | Jun 03, 2017 | |

35958 | Batman & Robin | True and it has been a LONG time since I've seen the whole movie but once Batman is taken out of the equation they would basically have to fight each other right? | echidna64 | Jun 03, 2017
35957 | Disney movie tunes | I've always been fond of this one...

| Superman | Jun 02, 2017 | |
35956 | Batman & Robin |
Rick Ace Rhodes wrote :

Superman wrote :

echidna64 wrote :

I never understood why Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy joined forces. That's some hack writing right there. -end quote

I think I figured this out when I watched the movie over again last weekend. The partnership benefited Ivy more than it did Freeze. She basically manipulated him into his plan of covering the planet in ice and killing off all of humanity so that she could start over again by populating the world with her animal-plant hybrids. It's still not the best movie writing, but I guess that explanation for the team-up is better than nothing.
-end quote
I always figured it was because both were using each other to obtain their own goals. -end quote

Yeah, that's how I see it. They were both using each other for their own goals, with Ivy getting a bit more out of the deal than Freeze.
| Superman | Jun 02, 2017 | |
35955 | The Café | My mother took our dog to the vet yesterday. He did just fine, but she had to give him a sedative in order for him to be calm. When he came home, he was calm, lackluster and did everything he was asked.

So apparently the key to having a well behaved Beagle is to drug the hell out of them.
| Rick Ace Rhodes | Jun 02, 2017 |
