36185 | Retro-Daze let's get healthy! |
Vaporman87 wrote :
So I'd been having a slight feeling of hesitancy during restroom breaks, and felt like I should head to the doctor. A urinalysis found blood in my urine but no sign of infection.

Naturally this made my mind divert directly to the worst possible scenarios. I am going to be visiting a urologist for testing, and as much as I might try to keep my mind off it, it's hard to ignore it. I am really, REALLY hoping it's a kidney stone or BPH or some other benign cause.
-end quote

Good luck. I hope you can get this treated.

Right now, for me, I have prostatitis. It's like a urinary tract infection, except the symptoms come up on occasions. There are times where my urine would be completely normal, while there were other times where it would burn when I pee, and I would get some very gunky pee coming out. Very painful. Still trying to get that treated.

I'm not sure if they prescribe antibiotics when it comes to blood in urine or kidney stones or whatever the case may be. But if they do, then I'd like to advise you, Vaporman, and anyone else as well, not to take a fluoroquinolone drug (Cipofloxacin, Levofloxacin, Moxifloxacin). Those drugs could either permanently cripple your body or kill you. I have seen many horror stories from people taking these drugs. If you look up fluoroquinolone poisoning or Cipro poisoning on the internet, then you'll see how bad these drugs are. I learned that after I was prescribed Ciprofloxacin last year, and was this close to take it. The fact that I did my research before I took the drug makes me glad I did as I may have possibly dodged a bullet.

If you do get perscribed a fluoroquinolone, I would suggest asking the doctor for a much safer alternative. It's not worth risking your life over.
| blueluigi | Jun 16, 2017 | ![]() |
