36936 | The Three Stooges movie | Actually, the costumers are the one thing I couldn't swallow while watching the movie. It didn't matter what they put on, it felt off-putting.<br> | Silvervix | Aug 05, 2017

36931 | The Emoji Movie | I don't see how they can possible make a sequel when the first film has yet to even recoup all of it's budget. | Rick Ace Rhodes | Aug 05, 2017

36929 | The Three Stooges movie | <span style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;">Gotta hand it to ya </span><span style="font-weight: bold;"><i style="font-style: normal;">S</i>ilvervix</span>, my standard for comedy is, "did it make me laugh?".<div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;">And the answer for the Three Stooges Movie is Yes, I did indeed laugh. I was prepared to hate this movie but I found it funny. </div><div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;">I also agree with <b>MM</b>, this movie revives a type of physical comedy that lives in the past and should stay there. That's why the Real Stooges will always inhabit the word of Hollywood before World War II, which we can all visit anytime, online.</div><div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;">Even while the original Stooges were still alive, the comedy and become contemporary for the movies that were made before Larry's death:</div><div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;"><br></div> <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-cQJ1X-5Big?ecver=2" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div> | eddstarr | Aug 05, 2017

36927 | The Three Stooges movie | mmmmm.... kind of decent vocal impressions of the original actors (Moe specifically; little shown in this clip of Curly or Larry). And the costumes are OK, serviceable. Not great, not bad. Otherwise I disagree with your assessment. I just don't think it feels like the old shorts at all. It is an interesting way to attempt to bring them into modern times, but I don't think it's successful, and I kind of think updating their humor style can't work with contemporary content. | shakin steak | Aug 05, 2017 |
