Mustangs were popular with the guys at the Navy Base where I grew up, so to get noticed the special edition Mustangs sold very well especially convertible models.</div><div><br></div><div>Like the time I came out of a 7-11 and a 1969 GT500 was front and center. Somebody had a near-pristine 67 Ford Shelby GT500 sitting in the parking lot.
