Only singers willing to actually sing, not just lip sync, were booked for appearance. <div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">As you can see Nancy Wilson hand no problem meeting the highest of recording values as she always sang live in her television appearances. </div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">By the late 60's the Hollywood Palace was under pressure to book more "popular" music of the time. The high standard had to be lowered to get some singers to appear on the show - sometimes ya gotta settle for what you can get.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">Nancy always reminds me of Nat King Cole.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="">Nat always sang at his own pace.
