| 38395 | Pixar | As I said in another thread, Pixar's Golden Era, in my opinion, was 1995-2011. Just about every movie Pixar made at that time were solid films. About the only film that didn't click with me was Cars, though even then, that wasn't really a bad film.<div><br></div><div>2011 was pretty much when Pixar's golden era started to end as that was when Cars 2 came out. Pixar's first dud. After that, Pixar was starting to shift more into being more like Dreamworks. Films like Brave and The Last Dinosaur were pretty mediocre, and Coco doesn't look that interesting. Not to mention they're working on Toy Story 4, despite the last film already being a great closure to the Toy Story franchise. Them making a fourth Toy Story film, and the way they focused on Cars, is giving me that Dreamworks vibe in the sense of how they milked certain films like Shrek and Madagasgar.</div><div><br></div><div>Don't get me wrong. Pixar still makes good films. Monsters University surprised me as I enjoyed that one quite a bit. I also have been interested in seeing Inside Out, though never got around to it.
