| 38736 | The Nintendo Switch - Your thoughts? | We don't need another "New Super Mario Bros" entry. To me, it's mostly the same game as the first one that started on the DS, with some small enhancements. The one that came out for the Wii was fine as they brought back the Kooplings. But then after that, it felt was too samey. There's no change in the overall style since the very first game for the DS, and for that, each entry doesn't feel like much of a new experience. It isn't like the classic games where each new entry feels a lot different. Super Mario World, for instance, didn't feel like the same game as Super Mario Bros 3, or any the past games. It had the same basic gameplay, but the whole style is entirely different. That's something I don't feel with the New Super Mario Bros games. Plus, the last game I played was New Super Mario Bros U, and got annoyed at it for the fact that it was way too easy. There was zero challenge whatsoever (and the Super Luigi guide didn't help with that).<br><br>Plus, Super Mario Maker pretty much makes any new entry in the New Super Mario Bros series completely pointless, as that has custom New Super Mario Bros U stages.
