What's up with you guys? crow and Vaporman. I mean, Sesame Street was great don't get me wrong I would never dispute that. And it was family friendly entertainment that taught us how to act, much like Mister Rogers, and in my opinion it's very important for us as a society to have that kind of valuable touchstone of childhood, and for it to be widely distributed and seen. It's not as much consumed now. I wish it was. Kids aren't so into it because there's more options, which are more exciting, and maybe that's unfortunate. I'm not sure how that should be addressed.

But Jim Henson also made entertainment for adults, and there's nothing wrong with that either. I mean, he did so from the beginning of his career. Really. Check out his other projects. The Muppet Show to begin with, but so much more. I think it's wonderful that he was able to use that talent to engage children and have the kind of impact that he did on us. It's very much along the same lines as other people who created for both children and adults, such as Roald Dahl, Dr. Seuss, and Shel Silverstein who had a lot of his work published in Playboy magazine.

So what's the problem with this? I mean, if I didn't know better I would say it sounds like you guys are "easily offended"
shakin steakMay 31, 2018View

I'm guessing most of us here have friends of other races, with their own stories to tell. I don't understand the point of these statements, or what they have to do with, er... anything really.

Anyway, the Muslim Brotherhood is an organization. Not a religion. Islam is a religion. If I were Roseanne, and I wanted to slam everyone of Islamic faith, I would just use "Islam" or it's originator (unlikely given that someone would probably try to kill her - not a proud thing to admit to for most Muslims I think), not a specific organization struggling to keep it's credibility.

But it really doesn't matter. Who cares what Roseanne thinks at all?

You know, it's too bad you don't show this kind of initiative or fervor for the real point of this site.
Vaporman87May 30, 2018View
