2090 | Article | pikachulover | I didn't really beg to leave. Once you were in the group you were pretty much stuck in it. | Mar 17, 2015
2089 | Article | Vaporman87 | Well you know... dinosaur... museum... it kind of makes sense. LOL | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
2088 | Article | SegaFanatic | @Hoju @Vaporman No, I have never had any more encounters with the kid, although I'm very curious what he may be doing nowadays in life, I feel like he might work in drama plays or at a museum, and I can't decide why I feel this way. | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
2087 | Article | Vaporman87 | You would think that if a student was actively begging to be in one of the other groups, that those in charge would see that said student was deserving of more than just being lumped in with the slackers, trouble makers, etc. in the chorus. Apparently not though. | Apathetic Chorus | Mar 17, 2015
2086 | Article | Vaporman87 | @Hoju: The answer appears to be no: "...there was no previous encounters with The Dinosaur Kid before that day, and there hasn't been one since." | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
2085 | Article | pikachulover | I was always copying something from Kimberly's outfits from Power Rangers. She was the stylish one. | Apathetic Chorus | Mar 17, 2015
2084 | Article | MissM | I loved it when Kenner would do that! Their Ripley figure from the Alien toy line would get reused again for the Karen figure from the Congo toy line. I remember just being mind blown when that happened. I hadn't realized that parts would be reused for different toy lines. Obviously parts reuse made sense in the same toy line, but it was always a fun surprise. I loved the Beetlejuice toy line, I had so many of these. I still do for the most part. Beetlejuice was big business back then. I am with you though, it always bugged me that there was never a Lydia figure. She was one of the most integral characters on the show! lol Just crazy. Your mention of the booklets and images of other products was exciting for me too. I loved nothing more than looking at everything available and imagining the worlds I could play in if I could just own it all. lol | Kenner Action Toy Guide '91 | Mar 17, 2015
2083 | Article | Hoju Koolander | I totally know the Kimberly boots you were talking about. Your teacher may not have been hip, but at least she wasn't ancient, trying to tie in some contemporary themes. | Apathetic Chorus | Mar 17, 2015
2082 | Article | Hoju Koolander | That was pretty great and your Dad in his underwear seems like something right out any 90s kids comedy. I wouldn't be surprised if there are forums and ancient chat rooms devoted to sightings of The Dinosaur Kid. He sounds like he could fit right in with Sasquatch or El Chupacabra. So was there a sequel to this story? Did you ever run across this mythic creature again? | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
2081 | Article | SegaFanatic | Yeah, exactly! Haha! | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015 |
