2556 | Article | AngelOtter | I loved Pokemon (and still do!), The cards got banned from my school because kids were selling them and the parents were getting mad that their kids were using lunch money to buy them. That just made us want them more of course. I still buy every new game that comes out. | Age of Pokemon | Aug 22, 2015
3243 | Article | Vaporman87 | I loved my Atari and my synthesizer/keyboard. I used that keyboard for so many things. Especially to add intro and segment music to my "radio station" shows that I would record on cassette. | My Favorite Christmas Gifts As A Kid in the 80s & 90s | Jan 05, 2016
2227 | Article | Vaporman87 | I loved Mannequin. Like you, I would watch it many times. I was fascinated by the idea of creating your own perfect woman (though I was not as fond of Weird Science for whatever reason). I had totally forgotten that James Spader played the bad guy here. He always did a bang up job as a bad guy/douche. It's fitting that he is playing Ultron in the Avengers 2. While I always thought Kristy Swanson (from Mannequin 2) was the more attractive female of the two, the first movie was far superior in every way. I think the second one kind of took the cheese factor to a whole new level that, even for the 80's, was just too much. | Mannequin - An Unappreciated Classic | Apr 27, 2015
4723 | Article | Dalek227 | I loved Little Critter! A few of my favorite childhood books were More Spaghetti I Say (about two monkeys, one wants to play but the other is too busy eating), Chicken Soup With Rice, those Sweet Pickles books also those Serendipity books. | My favorite children's books growing up | Dec 16, 2018

2266 | Article | Vaporman87 | I LOVED Ivan Stewart's Off Road. My brother and I played that game religiously. Great stuff... and yes, better than Excitebike. | NES: The 5 Worst Games | May 12, 2015
2084 | Article | MissM | I loved it when Kenner would do that! Their Ripley figure from the Alien toy line would get reused again for the Karen figure from the Congo toy line. I remember just being mind blown when that happened. I hadn't realized that parts would be reused for different toy lines. Obviously parts reuse made sense in the same toy line, but it was always a fun surprise. I loved the Beetlejuice toy line, I had so many of these. I still do for the most part. Beetlejuice was big business back then. I am with you though, it always bugged me that there was never a Lydia figure. She was one of the most integral characters on the show! lol Just crazy. Your mention of the booklets and images of other products was exciting for me too. I loved nothing more than looking at everything available and imagining the worlds I could play in if I could just own it all. lol | Kenner Action Toy Guide '91 | Mar 17, 2015
2046 | Article | Fulton4V | I loved having a friend stay all night at our house. My favorite part of it was calling people from the phone book and pretending to be people we werent. That was so much fun. | Sleepovers | Feb 23, 2015 |
