830 | Article | vkimo | haha fun read. I hated getting those candies that have been around for years. Especially the super hard stuff like Sugar Daddy and Tootsie Rolls. | Oct 15, 2013
856 | Article | vkimo | Haha nice article! I had/have a few of these. The ghost came with the Knights Castle set, which was basically the premiere Lego castle at the time. I have the Paradisa set at home and it acts as a Zen Garden of sorts for me because anytime I'm stressed I just look at it and imagine I'm there. | Miss M’s Top 10 Lego Minifigures! | Nov 13, 2013

963 | Article | vkimo | Man, I totally forgot about building forts! Couch forts were also a big staple of rainy days. My brother and I would take all the large couch cushions and drape sheets over them and bring all our toys in. | Remembering Rainy Days | Jan 30, 2014
979 | Article | vkimo | And who can forget Fabio gracing the cover of Iron Sword. | Rad Retro Ads | Feb 07, 2014
984 | Article | vkimo | I forgot to mention it, but the MOTU ad at the top was pretty shameless in exploiting a mother's love for her child. "While he's still a child"?! | Rad Retro Ads | Feb 08, 2014
986 | Article | vkimo | Haha excellent call. Only a certified retrodazer would have caught that one. | Rad Retro Ads | Feb 08, 2014
991 | Article | vkimo | They should have used the LEGO approach with flags which was a piece of stiff cloth with a hole at either end of the top on bottom. Simply slide the mast down the holes and done! Placing stickers or decals on toys is an article unto itself! | Rad Retro Ads | Feb 08, 2014
1055 | Article | vkimo | I have a lot/hate relationship with Twin Peaks. I've tried on 3 separate occasions to watch the entire series which shouldn't be hard since it was only 2 seasons. I love the setting, the nostalgic mist that seems to permeate through the TV. It does get a little weird so keeping an open mind is best. The intro is downright hypnotic and while I usually fast forward through an intro, I always watch the saw cutting the steel. Maybe the next time it's so cold and rainy I can't do anything else but lay back, I'll try to finish the rest of it. | Twin Peaks | Apr 08, 2014
1122 | Article | vkimo | Nice article man! I'm currently in a waiting room and this article was a godsend haha. Love how this article had a moral to the story. Do you still have that Genesis? | The Best Day Ever | Jun 04, 2014 |
