1799ArticleVaporman87I received my helping of Disney Afternoon thanks to my younger brother who enjoyed just about every show in it. By the time it began airing, I was in high school and Disney cartoons (outside of the feature films) were not something I actively sought out to watch. However, my brother did. And what he watched, I inevitably found myself watching along with him. Of the many shows and characters, I think I actually enjoyed Duck Tales the most, followed by Chip 'N Dale's Rescue Rangers. Some of the shows that came later, like Gargoyles, would have probably been my preferred show had I not already been graduated and heading to college. I can also say that my favorite intro song from the Afternoon would be the Gummi Bears intro. "Bouncing here and there and everywhere... high adventure that's beyond compare..." Jan 16, 2015View

2421ArticleHoju KoolanderI remeber catchin a few episodes of Sailor Moon on KCOP channel 13 before school, but besides the transformation sequences it didn't quite hook me. I do recall that my buddy had a couple of the original Japanese movies or episodes without dubbing on VHS. Those ones seemed so much more serious than the dumbed down American version. 801ArticleMr MagicI remember a couple of costumes I wore from my trick-or-treating days. In '92, I was Penguin from Batman Returns, and a couple of years later, I was Red Ranger from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. In the first picture towards the end of the article, it looks like Mark approached Casper the Friendly Ghost lol. But anyway, it was a good, well-written article. 501ArticleVaporman87I remember all of these games. Some were played more than others in my circle of friends. Probably the most played of these games was the staring contest, since it did not require violence or much physical prowess. By the way, the Chuck Norris clip is HILARIOUS! Great read, raptor.
