340 | Video | Vaporman87 | I could never get into this show. I preferred Three's Company. | Feb 15, 2013
377 | Video | Vaporman87 | I could never seem to get into this game in the same way that I enjoyed Conker, thought they were quite similar. It just didn't capture my attention. | Banjo-Kazooie VHS Toys "R" Us Promo | Feb 19, 2013
2226 | Article | pikachulover | I couldn't have put it on the outside. The school was very strict about what you could wear. I would have been just a graduate in a sparkly strapped bra. | Treasured Clothing | Apr 22, 2015
4995 | Article | Rabbitearsblog | I definitely agree with you about the Brave Little Toaster. I never would have expected that movie to be as dark as it got. Another disturbing children's movie I've seen was Return to Oz. That was way creepier that what we saw with The Wizard of Oz. The Gnome King and Princess Mombi definitely gave me the willies! | Creepiest Kids' Movies | Aug 01, 2019
3363 | Article | pikachulover | I definitely remember getting a few Ninja Turtles ones. I also got California Raisins, Berenstain Bears, Nerds and Garfield. When I first went to school I used to give really girly Valentines like Care Bears and Minnie Mouse. Then I moved onto ones for boys and girls like Chipmunks, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Rugrats. I liked getting sports themed Valentines they were something different. I remember getting NFL ones. | Rad Retro Valentines | Feb 14, 2016
3811 | Article | pikachulover | I definitely remember the Hi-c promotion. I used to have a bunch of the profiles cut out of the drink boxes. I few years later I threw them out because I thought the X-Men was childish or something. I think I have the hero caps some where. I remember getting a Rogue one. I think I had to convince my parents to get me that particular size packaging of Hi-C. They would usually get me the 3 packs to take in my lunch. I was already a regular drinker of Hi-C. | 90's X-Men Food Ads | Mar 30, 2017
3453 | Article | Vaporman87 | I definitely remember the Steamboat vs. Savage and Hogan vs. Warrior matches. Man, those were true classics. I don't think we'll ever see the enthusiasm for events like these classic matches in the future. People are more cynical, and less amused by "pretend" bloodsport. They want the real deal (MMA and such). Me, I prefer to know that nobody is actually TRYING to hurt each other, and the drama that comes with the show makes it more enjoyable. But I just think today's audience and the audience of the future won't be as engaged or entertained. | My Favorite WrestleMania Matches of All Time | Mar 16, 2016
3018 | Article | Vaporman87 | I definitely shared your fear of blinds (and still do). I hate the idea of somebody out in the dark being able to plainly view me in the light. So I typically try to turn off any lights at night in rooms that aren't being used. Hairs, strings, grass, anything in a tub bothered me (and still does). I NEVER take baths, and I HATE swimming for this reason. I don't like floating in my own filth, let alone a bunch of other peoples'. Nope. I'm strictly a shower only person. Some other fears of mine in childhood included the attic. The attic in our home had only one entry/exit... the closet in MY bedroom. So naturally when I heard anything, from the house settling to mice doing what they do up there, I was certain something was making it's way into my closed closet, just waiting to spring forth and do me in. I also feared our garage level floor. Our house had four levels; The basement, the garage/family room/wash room level, the main level, and the upstairs where our bedrooms were. The garage/family room level frightened me whenever I was alone there. At one end of the family room was the entrance to the wash room and a complete bathroom which was RARELY used. I always envisioned something with lightning speed popping out from the wash room area and following me up the flight of stairs that led to the main level. So much so, that I routinely had nightmares about it. It still creeps me out now just thinking about it. | Childhood Fears | Oct 26, 2015
3912 | Article | Hoju Koolander | I definitely tuned into The Magic Hour based solely on his pop culture status, but Sheila E was the only point of real entertainment. I saw the promos for Keenan's show, but preferred to watch The Wayans Bros or Jamie Foxx show on the WB. | Late Night FOX: Are You Ready for Magic? | May 28, 2017
2205 | Article | Hoju Koolander | I definitely watched my fair share of Clarissa on those lonely SNICK watching evenings of my youth. I loved that episode where she stood up to the bulky and then ended up dating the guy for a little while. Totally unexpected turn of events, Ferguson's evil laugh was always a good time. I had heard about this pilot in the past, but never tracked it down. Thanks for posting it. The creator of the show did a great interview on The AV Club a while back if you want to red it here http://www.avclub.com/article/clarissa-explains-it-all-creator-mitchell-kriegman-208535 | Clarissa Now - A Review | Apr 07, 2015 |
