4205 | Article | Mr Magic | Eddie really put Ted in his place. | Nov 27, 2017
4204 | Article | ThatDudeintheHoodie | I'm glad you guys had fun, I REALLY wanted to go, but things happen, if we're doing it next year, I'll make more of an effort to go. | RetroCon 2017 Report | Nov 27, 2017
4203 | Article | OldSchool80s | This sounds like an awesome experience especially meeting up with fellow retro fanatics. Thanks for sharing the incredible experience! | RetroCon 2017 Report | Nov 25, 2017
4202 | Article | OldSchool80s | I have been doing the same thing, only not looking to pay top dollar for any of them right now. It seems some of the pieces I would like the most are available, but cost a lot more than I think I am willing to pay right now. Would love to get an original He-Man, Optimus Prime, etc. I kept almost all of my Star Wars figures which is pretty cool. I have a lot of WWF Wrestling Superstars. A few Matchbox cars. But will continue to look out for some of those iconic figures from my childhood. Good luck to you on your quest as well. | Action Figure Reclamation Project Phase 1 | Nov 25, 2017
4201 | Article | superstarml | Thanks for the comment. I did some research and apparently the USS Flagg was worth 20 Flag Points. | GI Joe Flag Points | Nov 18, 2017
4200 | Article | Hoju Koolander | It was really interesting to learn about this extra feature of G.I. Joe collecting back in the day. I wonder how many points the USS Flagg was worth? The fun fact about that Sgt. Slaughter being an unused mold from LJN's WWF Superstars line was pretty neat. | GI Joe Flag Points | Nov 12, 2017
4199 | Article | pikachulover | Maybe you could wear the costume to a convention or somewhere like that. | Josiecat | Nov 10, 2017
4198 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @mickyarber I never had the commitment to any one property to try and get a full set unless it was Marvel, but even then I am still like 15 cards short in each set. I still have a dream of buying a sealed box of unopened Marvel Universe series 1 or 2. I'll make that come true some day soon. @NLogan I had no idea they made Dragon's Lair cards, that's wild. Oh man, a full set of KISS and GB2 cards would be sweet, especially if I did it pack by pack. Don't want to lose the thrill of the hunt. | Trading Card Treasures | Nov 08, 2017
4197 | Article | mickyarber | Ahhh....getting to read your take on these cards makes sending them to you more than worth it. Thanks for the article. I loved buying packs of cards as a kid, but the unfortunate thing was, when my old man would buy me a pack, it would be so long when he would do it again, I rarely had the chance to get the same cards again. So I ended up with one pack from about 20 different lines through the years. Not much of a chance to collect any one particular thing. These days, I continue to search out unopened packs of EVERYTHING, and have quite a large collection that stands as a time capsule of trading cards. I have roughly 150 different series of unopened packs, and there are a lot more out there to find. | Trading Card Treasures | Nov 07, 2017
4196 | Article | vkimo | Excellent summary of a most excellent tip! That trophy your family got is awesome! I'm also glad you finally got to meet up with Rob. He was a great guy and really in tune with his fans. I enjoyed the retro goodies that were abundantly displayed, but like Vaporman said, the time hanging out with you guys was the best. It was a smaller group, but that allowed us more time to hang out and get to know each other more. Hopefully we can continue this tradition! | RetroCon 2017 Report | Nov 07, 2017 |
