Post your Halloween costume, I want to see it!

Here's the mask I made this year. I am working on a ragged cloak to wear with it.







This is the first time I've made a papier mache mask. I'm pretty happy with it.

That is awesome.  Old school paper mache. Are you going to paint it any further or just leave it with the shadows around the eyes? I like the expression with one brow higher than the other. 

Thanks! I am not doing any more paint. I spent quite a bit of time trawling the internet for mask decoration ideas but did not see any I really liked. So I'm keeping it simple.

Have you seen the Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated series? I watched it with my boys on Netflix.  It wad pretty good with references to all kinds of stuff including horror and pulp fiction writers. It deals a lot with Fred's traps, and trap making training.

Indeed we have. I like that it references previous bad guys with the museum, and that there is a larger, over-arching storyline that is interspersed within the stories of each episode. It's probably the best Scooby-Doo series since the original, IMHO.

Also, really diggin' the cool homemade mask shakin!
