I always thought this was a neat play on the idea of Freddy, and really enjoyed the reunion of the cast and director.

I saw this in the theater when it came out. It was awesome. Definitely one of the better NoES movies. And a precursor to Craven's Scream series.

Too bad Johnny Depp wasn't in it. The original was where he debuted.
What's intriguing is how Robert Englund himself was in it and he acts as the villain. "Magic can happen to you."

I wasn't a big fan of this movie. But it wasn't the worst of it (That belongs to Freddy vs Jason even though the reboot is pretty close with it to being the worst.
