Something I didn't know about Men Without Hats until some time last year, was that the gang came together some 21 years after they released their last album, and made a new one in 2012.
A lot of bands do that right? No biggie. But these folks did something so much cooler than just releasing a new album with a fresh sound. They released a new album with THE SAME EXACT SOUND they had in the early 80's! They dug out their library of synths, played with their equipment a bit to give it that 80's quality, and made magic!
The result is a follow up that sounds and feels like it was made the day after Safety Dance debuted on MTV. It's glorious... and I recommend you add it to your iTunes list immediately. It should be a requirement of every member here.
There are at least 5 songs on this album that are worthy of wearing out your speaker system with repeated playback. The others are good enough to make the album worth so much more than the sticker price. Just awesome.
