1994 was a year full of unfortunate events such as the MLB strike, Kurt Cobain's death and the big flood in my town, On the plus side, memorable movies were released that year.

The Crow is hands down one of my favorite goth superhero movies of all time. Brandon Lee gives a very convincing performance. It's tragic that the movie itself was overshadowed by his death. It is an amazing piece if storytelling that every retro nerd should experience. |

Wow, you like 1994 films that most folks didn't care for, like The Next Karate Kid and Baby's Day Out.
There's one '94 film called North, which is directed by Rob Reiner and stars Elijah Wood, and it was disliked by a lot of people. This surprises me, considering Rob makes popular films. I guess directors' films will bomb sometimes. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

I never understood why people didn't like the next karate kid.
