Originally I was a Letterman fan. Especially in his earlier years. But over time he just became a partisan loud mouth with a chip on his shoulder. Good riddance.

I agree! He's not funny anymore.

He's 66. And besides, after that sex scandal, it's about time he considered retirement.

I heard that Letterman's sex scandal was one of the reasons Conan's Tonight Show got bad ratings.

How was his marriage since that time?

So now I hear Stephen Colbert will replace Letterman.

I definitely will not miss Paul Shaffer.  Irritating, grating, obsequious #%$*!

Yeesh. They're desperate if they're placing Colbert in for Letterman. That's just terrible.

I'm not familiar, but in internet chatter he seems to be rather popular.

I'm not familiar with Colbert's show. I've never seen it. My cousin is a big fan of his and recommended the show to me. Maybe I'll just watch an episode online just out of curiosity. But I do like his Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor.

The colbert report is great, it's a shame it will end. How could you people not be familiar with him?
