The show Community had a G.I. Joe themed episode and part of it was animated. They tried to make it look like the Sunbow animated version. There are even some fake live action commercials. I don't want to spoil the episode's plotline. 

I think I saw a commercial for that episode. Don't care for the show though.

Hey sorry I'm late, I was busy last Thursday and had to DVR this one.  Finally got around to watching it last night.

This episode was fantastic.  There was a lot of making fun of the old cartoon, but I could see it came from a place of love.  Almost all of the plot was animated in faithful style, and the fake commercials were good. 

Overall this was a very good and funny episode, and maybe the best intro for a new viewer since Basic Rocket Science (S02E04).
