Randall Colburn of the AV Club gave this year's Wrestlemania a B-. Mainly for the Undertaker/AJ Styles match.

So, let me get this straight:

They let people attend this year's Wrestlemania, yet they still let a virtual audience attend Raw and Smackdown?

WWE is getting stupider and stupider every year!

WWE is really setting themselves up for a disasterous decade. I legitmately think they might collapse if they don't start figuring things out. Especially since they now have such severe competition in AEW.

All their younger talent is jumping ship. They are firing everyone left and right. All they are doing is pushing older, washed-up talent that were maybe big 15-25 years ago. The younger guys who are supposed to be the face of the company (Rollins, Reigns, Bryan) aren't getting the fans hyped the way that people like Austin, The Rock or Hogan did.

WWE is entering a really dark era for their business. Even worse than what the pre-attitude era was for the company. Years of bad decisions and contempt for their audience is going to wreck havoc on them.

As far as wrestling goes today, Rick, AEW is the way to go. As much money as WWE might be making, I don't think they'll stay in business forever. The fans and suoerstars have a voice and I don't think they'll allow the business to remain opened.

I would think they would like to have a live audince for at least the big 4 PPVs if they can.

I feel that to not have a live audience after WM is absurd, pika. They've started letting fans attend sporting events like NBA games, MLB games and college baseball games. To not let fans to events outside of WM is senseless!  

That's easy. These young guys aren't at all memorable. The reason that Hulk Hogan, Andre, Macho Man, The Undertaker, etc. and others like them were such huge draws had to do with the over-the-top nature of their personas. Whether or not you can convincingly wrestle means nothing.

Sometimes I wonder what these young fans will feel about WWE years from now. They may like it now, but later on life, they might say "I can't believe I actually liked it!"

Yet the commentators on WWE programming make it sound like they're big hits!

The most recent WM I saw was the one in 2005. When I heard that Roman Reigns lost his title match last night, had to watch.
