Mr Magic
They used to show Flintstones, Jetsons, Looney Tunes, Garfield, and other shows during the day and night before they showed an NBA game, a movie or whatever.

I remember these days. I think I tended to watch TBS and USA more than TNT. TNT seemed to always be airing black and white movies and sports. Sports I would occasionally like watching, but it was always teams I didn't care about on TNT for the most part.

I did not get TBS on my cable provider until years later. As for TNT, I never really watched it as a kid, so I don't ever recall seeing cartoons air on the network.

They could at least bring back animation in the afternoon on TNT. People can watch Castle any other time!

For one day, lol

Dexter's Laboratory was...made into a seven-minute pilot as a part of Cartoon Network's What a Cartoon! project...which debuted on February 26, 1995...In August 1995, Turner ordered six half-hours of the series, which...premiered as a half-hour series on TNT on April 27, 1996, and on April 28 on Cartoon Network and TBS Superstation.

Turner must have been too busy trying to make WCW worth watching than to mess with Dexter's Lab.
