It's been an amazing week in Seattle as the city has been overrun by football fans. Australia has made quite an impression with the locals now that Team USA will advance to the next round with a 2-0 win over Australia.

Watching this World Cup this year has personally really made me miss how much I use to play Soccer as a kid. I use to love playing it and always personally enjoyed it as a sport. I only stopped playing it in Middle School to focus on my grades. That, and I just really didn’t have nor did I even want to put up with the time that goes into playing a sport like soccer.

Oh well, go USA!!!

Same here, football was all the rage with Norfolk being NATO Headquarters for the North Atlantic Fleet. All the navy kids around the city were into Great Britain and Europe. I used to be so skinny as a kid, running all around the field, oh how I miss those days!

It's gridlock everyday!

Downtown Seattle is packed with football fans and the crowds seem to be growing with Jumbotron screens across city parks and even at the waterfront.

Morocco vs. Haiti in Atlanta today. As if the traffic there isn't crazy enough.

Seattle is a small city compared to Atlanta. The crowds there have more room to stretch out.

Seriously, some visiting football fans better return home now while they can still fit in an airline seat.

Anyone see that wild Argentina/Switzerland game? The game was in a tie when I went to bed and I find out today that Argentina beat them 3-1.
