Lately I've found myself tinkering with many different A.I. apps and softwares. My latest creations are in the music space, which has been great fun since I am not musically inclined.

There is a great swell of both hate and support for A.I. and using it as a tool to create. The central argument is that the A.I. are trained on human creations in order to spit out their own. This is true.

Problem is, that is how art has always been. Comic book artists use their talents to create new works, but that work is influenced by what has come before it. They may use a pose or design a page because they have seen it before and liked it. Same goes for music. Same for video. So while I understand the arguments being made, ultimately it is futile. There is no difference in the human mind using influences and an artificial mind doing the same (if we can yet call them 'minds'.

This boat is setting sail, and there will be no stopping it. Might as well embrace it, master it, and use it to your benefit as best as you can now, before you get left behind.

That being said, here are some of the fun songs I've written (lyrics are mine for the most part).

A tribute to MOTU's own, Roboto:

Taking the "Grinning Man" cryptid and turning him into a malevolent spirit kidnapping people:

The musical journey of a pirate crew seeking revenge on a sea monster known as "The Shadow":

A planet has become uninhabitable and those living there must flee to space:

This one is a nice example of how beautiful/moving an A.I. generated song can be:
