I dunno if anyone else has played the games in this series, but when Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software teamed up to make their own "toys to life" game, I was actually intrigued with the game when its first game released in 2013 for the Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, coming with a line of figures based on characters of different Disney movies and shows like The Incredibles, Phineas and Ferb and Aladdin as I encountered a kiosk of the game and figures at my local Target. It was an interesting concept to wrap myself up in at the time while I was staying in North Dakota. You could play through stories based on the characters, or you could create your own world. Unfortunately with Disney's poor management of figures being available at retailers, the Disney Infinity franchise crashed and burned by its third entry. Did you play any of the games?

Sure looks to me like the Premiere vesion, 1.0, is doing gangbusters in online gameplay, and means the fandom is still strong. There's still a chance that the Infinity series can be revived if Disney can get clear of all its current troubles and embrace true entertanment again.

It's unsure of at this point, a revival was attempted, but quickly got shelved.

Nowadays Disney Interactive if focusing on Disney Speedstorm, an online focused racing game where you grind for unlocking prizes through tiers. I tried it for a while on my PS5 but I just couldn't get the same enjoyment out of it.

There's waay too much gong on with Disney properties for now, the organization needs to be able to focus on maintaining it's various holdings if they ever get some breathing room. What an amazing turn of fortune for Disney.
