Long before ALF became a pop culture icon of the 1980s, his creator, Paul Fusco had made a Thanksgiving TV special on Showtime in 1983 starring Tom Turkey, an aspiring actor with dreams of performing on broadway, but ends up in New Jersey instead of New York and finding himself in feuds of hungry cats and shelterless dogs. Currently the special is available to watch on Tubi.

Thinking about checkin' it out today. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Watched it yesterday. Again, I'm sorry I didn't know about this before. Loved every minute of it. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."
