Well, I wouldn't say this was a banner year for Disney films. In fact, I wouldn't say this was a banner year for Disney period. And this is their 100th year!! 

Little Mermaid 2023 failed at the Box Office, as did Haunted Mansion 2023. A remake of a film that didn't do so hot 20 years ago. Well, some movies deserve another chance, I guess.

Can Wish be the one to save them? Can Wish make the once mighty successful company significant again?

From the trailer alone it already looks like a fun movie, won't be able to see it in theaters though due to some early Christmas shopping.

I have a feeling it won't. Between movie theater prices and how quickly things get put out on streaming, it doesn't really make economic sense anymore for people to go see kids films in the theaters.

We're coming up on 25 years into the 21st century and there's a shift in the way people consume entertainment. For better or worse, the target audience does not react to new releases the way my generation did 50 years ago.

I suppose Disney in 2023 wasn't all bad. Elemental was a hit, right?

Rotten Tomatoes critics are already knocking this movie, what a surprise.

If their mamas made a movie, they wouldn't approve.

Some are calling Wish a tribute to the Disney films of the olden days. Some are calling it boring.

What's your call?

I still have yet to see it, but as far as judging a movie goes, I'm surprised people still look at Rotten Tomatoes as a legit guide on whether to see it or not when not all of their critic reviews will be agreeable.

Still waiting for them to pull this from movie trailers, Blu-ray covers, etc.

Unfortunately billion sales haven't been met for the movie. Seems audiences want something more.
