Never expected to find such a beautiful upload of this old movie I saw as a child on Sunday afternoons throughout the 1960's. 

This 1946 French film is the most haunting telling of Beauty and the Beast I've ever seen. The cinematography is outstanding!

Arlene Whiteswan of "The Mysterious Domain Movie Palace", also provided the subtitles since this is in the original French.

The movie begins at the 9 min. mark, for anyone wishing to skip Arlene Whiteswan's introduction This is last year's Christmas presentation, but I think this movie was custom made for Halloween!
