Over the years a lot of buzz has surrounded Artificial Intelligence and the creative process. The argument that only human creativity can make art has come under question as newer applications push the boundaries of what computers can do.

OpenAI has its latest version of DALL-E 2 in scheduled rotation, letting artists see what the latest A.I. platfom can do.

While I find this video interesting, I'm not understanding what is revolusionary about DALL-E 2. Maybe the end result has to be see in person, but computer art always looks like computer art to my eyes.

I think it's pretty amazing. I would like to play with it. There's a waitlist.

When you think about it, A.I. offers opportunities to expand into new artistic venues. Why not turn a building into a dynamic art show, or maybe a whole cityscape? Can we turn the atmosphere above us into a flowing artwork? I'm very interested in "artrooms", where an entire room becomes an artwork all around the observer.
