Ain't it funny how one of the most special Mustangs of the early 2000's is only now getting the attention of specialty car collectors?

The 2004 Mustang SVT Terminator Cobra is the "One That Got Away".

The SVT development team gave the Terminator Cobra a horsepower bump to 390 hp, courtesy of a supercharged, 32-valve DOHC, 4.6-liter V8 engine. The Mustang's running gear components were strengthened to handle the extra power, while exterior cosmetic changes gave the Terminator a unique appearance.

A $3,600 special paint called, Mystichrome, was available with a matching leather interior. Mystichrome shifts from blue, to purple, to green, and almost black: and the special matching leather seats do the same.

But no matter the color, all SVT Cobras are special cars and collectors are grabbing any that are available, even as prices rise to unbelievable levels!
