This looks quite amusing.
Note: That's not a fox. It's a red panda.

i've been seeing some mixed signals across social media regarding the message of the movie. there's even some concerned parents saying that younger children probably shouldn't be watching it given the innuendos, while others are saying that it's a creative way of a teen going through their hormones. i'll probably watch it at some point but it seems there's more negative reviews than positive so far, at least given from the community of social media than the movie critics themselves. I oversaw some of it. My take is that turning into a red panda is a metaphor for a young girl starting her period. The most blatant connection is when the main character's mom brings her pads to school. It also gives the title a double meaning. I don't know, not really my cup of tea. I found the main character to be kind of annoying. |

some have said that it's one of the best modern pixar movies but honestly i just felt like it was more in the middle. imo soul has been the best so far. Nintendo Network ID: Benjamillion

I feel like every Pixar movie that comes out gets the same praise- "one of the best Pixar films," or "Pixar still has the magic." To be honest, if Turning Red was a genuine masterpiece it wouldn't have been dumped onto Disney+ for free. Benjanime wrote :

It's probably no better than Soul,, but I'm willing to give it a chance anyway. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."
