I was listening to various rock albums and I came across one of the finest I've ever heard: Superunknown by Soundgarden.

Truly a 90s gem.

This album is also known for a certain chart topper.

RIP Chris Cornell. Soundgarden's frontman.

This is a great album, definitely foundational for me growing up.

The guys over at "Sound Opinions" at WBEZ - Chicago, have been asking for years why Soundgarden doesn't get more love from 90's music fans. The Seattle music scene was an awesome way to closeout the 20th century.

This album also features a short track called "Kickstand"

Some of you might know it from Road Rash.

Fell on Black Days, nothing but great hits on that album

Yeah, I'm only sorry I never heard it sooner.

Soundgarden had some amazing songs during the heyday of Grunge in the mid-90s. This band was definitely on the soundtrack that defined my life in 1994. I didn't follow Chris Cornell's career after Soundgarden, but I respect that he had a great voice. RIP.
