No matter how much thought I put into this, I can't quite pin down the exact year when Halloween passed from kids treats to waay cool stuff for the older crowd.

Halloween 1978 stands out for me with all the parties and friends during my college years. And there sure were a lot of TV specials that year. Most broadcast specials during the month of October, in any year, seem to take on a kinda "seasonal magic".

While being filmed for television, Olivia promised the boys in the band a big bowl of candy, at the end of the show, if they behaved themselves during each song. Maybe Olivia should have kept a leather whip hidden in her microphone!

Oh well, Trick 'r Treats got a lot hotter when Olivia Newton-John released this song in October, 1978. Happy Halloween!
