Although, it originated in the 2000s. Its got an awesome 80s flavor. The musicians who made this fantastic music were inspired by video games, movies and other things of the 80s.

Their mission: Keeping things retro through music.

And they're doing a wonderful job of it.

A great deal of the "Tommy and the Order of Cosmic Champions" soundtrack consists of licensed synthwave, in addition to two exclusive tracks from Synthwave master, "PYLOT" (Tim Butler).

My favorite artists...

PYLOT, FM-84, Luke Million, Maxthor, Michael Oakley, Ultraboss, Ollie Wride, Droid Bishop, Freewieghts

ALSO: Seasonally appropriate synthwave (totally rockin' around the 2:10 mark)...

Rad tunes, guys!

Hey, Ben, that tune you posted has kind of a "Starfox meets Tron" vibe.

Remember the magic words, "Hologram Plaza"

If you enter Hologram Plaza in your browser you'll call up the famous album by Disconscious.

My favorite track from the album is "Mattress Store".
