I mean, I'm really liking the JW saga, but I have to wonder, will we see another film after this?

Yes. I feel like Jurassic Park has worn out it's welcome. And the more recent movies have been way too over the top and unbearable with their plotlines.

I feel like there was a missed opportunity to call it Jurassic World: Domination

Maybe they felt calling it Domination would be too simple. Or too cliched.

Yeah right. As long as it makes money, they'll never end it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's why they let the dinos loose to have unlimited spinoffs. Spielberg said the problem with Jurassic Park was getting people to the island

Anyone else see it this weekend? I thought it was... okay. I don't know if it was necessarily worse than the previous film, but it really had no other point to it then to mine nostalgia for the original film. It ended with literally the same message as the previous film did with nothing more being accomplished: dinosaurs are apart of the modern world now and we are going to have to learn to deal with it.

There was no real tension as you didn't feel like any of the main characters were going to die. The conflict with the t-rex and the rival apex dinosaur was pulled out of nowhere and only existed to give a "final battle" at the end of the film. The only real new thing this film did that none of the other ones have done before is show how the dinosaurs are having an effect on the world around them. But even then it wasn't as done as well as it could have been.

I didn't get my hopes up going into it given how bad the last two were, but even then I still a feel a little let down.

There's a built-in appeal when you know what's going to happen before you see the movie, and the special effects teams get to go all-out with crazy moves. "Jurassic" Everything looks like the only good bet for films beyond "Dominion", the overwhelming box office numbers tell that tale.

i would have loved to see the PC game, jurassic park: trespasser in its original vision. sucks that it had to immediately be rushed out to meet the demands of an earlier release than expected. i doubt we'll get a similar jurassic park game that would be put in the right care.

Well, as long as there's good dino action in the new film.

I would love if we got a great Jurassic Park FPS game. I don't know why no one has pursued one yet. That point-and-click game that was out a decade ago was terrible.
