The Snyder Cut has been unearthed like an undead Superman, what are your thoughts?

Overall, the movie has a lot of upgrades and Darkseid definitely raises the stakes but personally, I thought the first hour of the movie is "cheeks." Barely coherent storytelling and overlong scenes that really SHOULD have been cut. 

I would like to advocate the EchidnaCut- skip the first hour. haha At about the 50 Min mark they actually explain what the hell is going on and that trims it down to a more manageable 3 hours. 

can i just say that i'm not really a fan of jared leto's joker? i dunno, i get that the laughing is intended to be creepy but it's just not the kind of joker laughs i'm used to.

Yeah there was definitely a lot that could have been trimmed. Even so, this is a better telling of this story. It just won't ever be as good as the Avengers arc. 

Not exactly sure how to explain this.

It's not unusual for a film project to "morph" as it's in production. Scenes as originally planned aren't a good fit and re-shoots lead to a re-write or a re-imagining. So the movie grows into a mini-series.

I agree with Chris Stuckmann, the "Snyder Cut" outgrew the Theater Release Box that it started in. 

Maybe we've reached that point in the 21st century where movies can break-away from the theater and grow into multi-chapter stories that fans can stream as they please!

Whedon's version was like watching RC cars racing on a track- safe, boring, forgetable

The Snyder Cut is like the Daytona 500- overlong, unpredictable, with some spectacular wrecks

Overall I hope the driving force behind future projects take the creativity of a director's vision seriously and stop letting the guys, who only see money, call the shots.

To its credit, Justice League sets up spinoff movies for The Batman with Batfleck (canceled), Cyborg (canceled), Aquaman, and the Flash (delayed), as well as its own sequels.
