I've listened to a couple of their albums on YouTube. I've really gotten into them!

Up until now, the song that I was most familiar with is You're the Inspiration.

Chicago has always been one of those bands that "feel" like they've been around forever. 1969 is the first time I heard their music on the radio, and they became a reliable hit machine by 1970.

"Baby What A Big Surprise", from 1977, really stuck to me. I'm not sure why, guess I just like the song because it was just before Chicago's hiatus while the world caught "disco-fever", LOL!

I feel like I've heard that one before, edd. Very nice!

Hey, Thank You, MM!

Everyone can hear how "Baby What A Big Surprise" gets caught in a trap ending. The song concludes by repeating the chorus over and over. But with each eteration of the chorus, the pitch of the orchestra rises. After three or four rounds the song has to fade-out quickly before the string section goes ultrasonic, LOL!

"Old Days", from 1975 doesn't have the trap ending, it maintains the same pitch throughout. Most of the songs nostalgia references pre-date me, but the spirit of the song is right on target.

Holy cow... look how young Peter Cetera looks there. Barely recognize him, especially with ALL THAT HAIR!

If it wasn't for the People Magazine cover, it could be a photo of "Sons of Chicago!"

Another great 70s Chicago track! I gotta listen to their 70s albums!
